
ABOUT JARED
Jared Decker is a drummer, composer, arranger, and educator. Living in Jersey City, NJ, he performs in New York City, New Jersey, around the country and internationally, building a reputation as a dependable and versatile musician.
Jared thrives in many styles, with experience performing and recording jazz with the likes of Victor Goines and Warren Wolf, accompanying singer-songwriters like Gemma Laurence and Susie McCollum, and rock bands like Goldwoman and the Sean Decker Group. He is a nominee for Sabian's 2026 Dom Famularo Mentorship Award, the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards, and is a member of the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop. In addition to composing and arranging, Jared has produced several recording projects, including co-producing Sean Decker's album More Soon (and a new one to-be-released soon), and for the Constellation Big Band. Also regularly playing for recording sessions and musical theater, Jared's recent pit orchestra performances include Slam Frank, Exorcistic Off-Broadway, and Zack Zadek's The Turning.
